Courses

CP Language offers language courses in over 50 languages. We also offer a medical interpretation course that is recognized nationally, called "Bridging the Gap".

Our language courses are taught by native speakers who are highly trained educators. Our instructors are constantly improving their teaching methods in order to offer our students methods of studies that are targeted to their specific needs. Our medical interpretation course is taught by highly trained instructors who are among the top Sign Language and Spanish medical interpreters in the New York metropolitan area. In “Bridging the Gap”, the students are presented with various case studies that are aimed to show the role of the interpreter. Ethical issues are also discussed in order to prepare the students to understand the importance of presenting the provider and the patient with seamless communication. A large amount of drills are presented by the instructor, for the students to learn the nuances involved with medical interpreting. Please visit the "Bridging the Gap" section for more information.
